Prayer & Fasting Day 3

Read John 3.

John the Baptist said, “A person cannot receive one thing unless it is given to him from heaven.” (v.27) And about Jesus, he said, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” Instead of asking the Lord for things today, thank Him for His benevolent kindness and consider making a “thank list” of all the things He has given you. Every time you are tempted to be selfish today, quote verse 30, “He must increase, but I must decrease.”
