Prayer & Fasting Day 5

Read John 5.

Jesus said there were five different things or people who bore witness about Him. These were John the Baptist, the works Jesus did, the Father Himself, the Scriptures, and Moses. Jesus said the people believed in all these but did not believe in Him yet all of those bore witness about Him.

How does your life bear witness to the people all around you every day? As you humbly pray and fast today, let your light shine to those around you who need to see Jesus. Let your actions and thoughts bear witness to who Jesus is and all He is to you.

Pray this prayer of David in Psalm 19:14: “Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.”
